The Institutional Proposal is the first element of the Institutional Presentation and the first stage in the accreditation review cycle. Its purpose is to guide the entire accreditation review process. Once the proposal is approved, it becomes part of the total body of institutional material that supports the review during its subsequent two stages. CSU, Chico submitted its institutional proposal to the Senior Commission in October 2003. Upon review, the Commission approved the proposal in March 2004. The proposal then became the framework for the accreditation review process and represents the plan of action and commitment by CSU, Chico.
